Yeah, the move to electric vehicles will the death of what's left of our combat readiness. Not to mention how the supply chains pass directly through Chinese control, as well as how dirty this supposedly green energy actually is. The whole thing is a scam to enrich a few well-connected elites at the expense of America being able to defend herself and her interests. I don't know if you follow The Wright Report podcast by Bryan Dean Wright; it's excellent and very concise, and he has done several segments on the "dirty green energy" movement.
Battery tanks are a payback to the Green Industry Lobby and will never actually exist because God built so few working recharging stations in war zones.
Yeah, seeing the amount of time it takes to recharge electric vehicles, as well as the limited number of charging stations that would be available (I guess they would use diesel generators to create the electricity?), makes me think the military leaders pushing for electric tanks and MRAPs really haven't thought this one all the way through yet.
As a Canadian (who by default lives under the US defense umbrella) I find this DIE shit in the US military seriously disturbing.
