That's it! Thanks. Both are great writers. I just have a bad memory.

@markbisone I was raised Catholic as well, but fell away from the church in my teens. What made me look at Catholicism again as an adult?? The Tridentine Mass aka The Latin Mass. And I didn’t go there looking for anything, I just went because my son invited me. Zero expectations. Something clicked though…I can’t explain it but it did. You should check one out.

I have, actually. About two years ago. I wrote about my experience back then, if you're interested.

That was a great post that made me want to go back to Mass when I read it. There really is something good and beautiful about the old Mass, and it definitely comes through in your post.

You attended a low mass, there is no Gregorian chant or singing in this mass. It’s meant to be solemn. Check out a high mass, beautiful Gregorian chant that really moves the soul in ways I can’t explain. Trust me, the experience is worth the hour you spend there. Try an SSPX chapel, if you have one near you.

Interestingly, that was my friend’s plan going forward: to to seek out and attend a high mass next. I may do that on my own, thanks.

Grab a Latin-English Booklet Missal For Praying The Traditional Mass off Amazon for like 12$ if you are interested. It’s a booklet with a red cover, can’t miss it. Reading through it and comparing it to the Novus Ordo mass, it’s crazy how different they are.

When I first attended a Latin mass I had trouble figuring out what book to use to understand what was going on so I thought I’d make it easy for you.

Maybe kind of like that Venezuelan gang that took over the apartment complex in Colorado and started charging residents rent.

Great podcast. I was turned off of much of the dissent right because many attack Christianity, which just seemed odd to me because the left also attacks Christians. I mean the old saying you catch flak when you are over the target comes to mind…like why attack Christians if they are wrong, a psy-op etc.??

Good Podcast!

'Christians vs non-Christians' is not quite the theme of the recent flare up involving Kulak et al vs Librarian et al. I would argue that it's more a case of:

'Religion as Worldview' vs 'Religion as Culture'

There are people out there (call this the 'Based Pagan crowd' of Atheists, Pagans & others) who feel that religion should be continuous with culture, lineage, language, etc.

Then there are people (Christians & others) who think that Religion as such should be the key driver behind all things, transcending culture & related variables.

At least (being an outsider to the whole drama), that's how I'm seeing things unfold! 😉

Ha Ha Ha! I've been called a lot of things, but I don't ever recall being called prickly. But I guess that is better than blind in one eye and not trusting anyone or anything? Lol. I'm pretty sure though, I'm the one who keeps repeating Levi's statement, the true Science is the unification of Reason and Faith.

Also, I'm pretty sure I was the one guy who stepped into the comment section on the Librarians post and said basically, wtf is this infighting when we are all being besieged on every front, invaded by immigrant mercenaries? Like two guys arguing about who is the better home builder while the house burns down around them.

That said, if I am occasionally prickly, it is when you guys use the word occult only in reference to the globalist, liberal death cult, aka evil. One of the reasons pagans can be a bit prickly about Christianity is the instinctual memory of the Inquisition.

I have also repeated many times, if I have rejected Christianity for myself, I do not reject Christians or Christ. I'm working on a post about that, and am now inspired to speak more clearly. Ha!

Great discussion. I consider you a friend too, Mark. You too Daniel.
