The Supreme Court may help out with this one too. There's a good chance the Chevron Doctrine (granting very broad deference to administrative agencies to interpret laws) could be scaled back in an upcoming case.

That would be a good first step, but even unwinding all of the strands of judicial deference would only be a start. The unaccountability of the deep state agencies goes all way back the massive New Deal Administrative act. It was indeed patently unconstitutional, essentially erasing Article 1 Section 1 of the Constitution, which gives Congress and Congress alone the power to make laws.

Woodrow Wilson, FDR, and LBJ are the unholy trinity of the deep state and are collectively responsible for so much federal overreach and the near-complete abrogation of the 10th Amendment.

Absolutely. And you might even stretch it back to Lincoln, with conscription, new criminalizing of sedition, and other steps to empower the State.
