The Rising Counter-Elite
RFK, Jr.'s announcement of an alliance with Trump is another sign of the deepening schism among the West's ruling class, and *that* is something to celebrate.
RFK, Jr. announced yesterday that he is (effectively) dropping out of the race and supporting Donald Trump’s campaign for President. There have even been rumors of a cabinet position, and today Kennedy joined Trump onstage at a campaign rally.1
The immediate impact of this is huge. It puts to rest those pesky “conspiracy theories” that Kennedy was running a mere spoiler campaign, to take votes away from Trump and thereby ensure that when the regime inevitably tries to steal the election again, it won’t have to manufacture an inordinate number of votes in order to install Kuntala “Whore of Babylon” Harris in the White House as their latest puppet.
At the same time, those who have criticized Trump for his eagerness to placate the Zionist lobby will understandably point out that when it comes to Israel, there may not be any meaningful difference between Trump and RFK. However, it’s also worth noting that both Trump and Kennedy oppose the Neocons’ (neo-con-artists’) latest forever war in Ukraine. As Kennedy makes plain in his speech, one of his primary motives for aligning with Trump is their desire for peace with Russia and an end to the Ukraine War. Trump and RFK, Jr. may share the Neocons’ support for Israel, but they are not Neocons.
The bigger picture, though, is even more important. The ultimate upshot of Kennedy’s announcement is this: here is one more sign that a counter-elite is forming in real time. To quote the Ron Paul meme, “It’s happening.”
For years that has been the central point of contention between those who, on the one hand, say that the Globohomo American Empire, Inc. (GAE) is turbocharged and stronger than ever because all the elites are united and are fully on board with the regime’s overall agenda (see, e.g.,
’s post Turbo-America2), and those who, on the other hand, claim that the GAE is weak, sclerotic, and fragile and that a counter-elite will emerge as soon as the conditions are right (see, e.g., Charles Haywood’s post On the Fragility of the Current Regime3). Both essays are compellingly argued and make important points, but for my money, Haywood will ultimately be proven right: the current regime is doomed and a counter-elite will inevitably form. The GAE’s ruling class is attempting a “controlled demolition” of our civilization, and they seem to be desperately hurrying to get it done (almost as if they are aware of an impending deadline4), so much so that they are increasingly making unforced errors that could jeopardize their control of the whole thing. Basically, they are trying to Jonestown-suicide the entire West, and they are increasingly impatient to force us all to drink their Kool-Aid. The problem is, a lot of people are waking up to the reality of what the regime is up to, and the fact that the regime fully intends to impose either death, or fates worse than death, on all of us. Even the normies can’t shake the gut-wrenching feeling that they are materially worse off today than they were four years ago, and that things are likely going to get worse unless we make some dramatic changes. Anyone who’s been paying the slightest attention knows that the folks driving this clown car want to escalate all the trends that are making us poorer, weaker, and more dysfunctional as a society. As long as it’s just regular rubes making a bunch of noise about it, who cares? The regime can brush them aside and silence their voices. But what happens when big names with big money and big platforms start seeing the future that awaits their own families if the emergency brakes aren’t pulled?
Obviously, we’re not out of the woods yet — not even close. The formation of a counter-elite is still in its early stages and is, therefore, vulnerable to being snuffed out before it can really get up and running. The regime has also done a lot of damage over the past few years, and its officials have some fearsome weapons still at their disposal,5 with which they can still do a whole lot more damage before they are removed from power. Then there’s the whole issue of whether we’re just talking about hacking away at various heads of the regime hydra piecemeal, rather than attacking the central bankster cartel from which these hydra heads continually regrow6. Such concerns are beyond the scope of this post.
But here’s the thing: although we are still beset by many dangers, the emergence of a counter-elite is meaningfully auspicious. We have to celebrate our wins, folks. And it is definitely a promising sign to see a new and interesting coalition emerging among influential people, like Robert Kennedy, Jr. and Donald Trump and Elon Musk. A viable counter-elite is visibly forming, and that was not true just a short time ago.

See,
’s two-part (so far) series on how the Left can seize ultimate power in America:
and
Basically there are two sides in America. One side recognizes that America is in decline. The other side is busy looting what is left while distracting people with nonsense.
I agree that there is something to celebrate here, though I'm at a loss to describe it.
There does seem to be a new elite faction cobbling itself together. On the other hand, at a certain level of play the Blob has *always* contained rival factions who were either visibly at each other’s throats or quietly poisoning each other’s cocktails. "Bad guys also fight bad guys," in other words.
That said, even the rise of a new rival "bad guy" faction (if that's what this is) will likely produce a while bunch of interesting new tactical opportunities and exploits. Like the monsters in those old Godzilla flicks, they might be too busy fighting each other to notice the group of human nerds assembling their superweapon.
